Q. I have a problem with my teeth, my 2 front teeth are chipped and cracked my dentist used composite on my front tooth and it has made it discolored etc plus the enamel is coming off. Could you suggest a treatment?
A. If the teeth has cracked and the filling has come out then the other best option is to take a x-ray to see the fracture level and go for a root canal treatment and then a crown. it is good if you immediately consult a dentist and get the treatment done as soon as possible.

Q. I have just had 4 porcelain crowns fitted and one of them looks out of place there is a small gap around it, is it possible that my dentist can remove this one and replace it with another?
A. Yes, if those four crowns are separate, then you can just remove that crown alone and go for a new one but if those crowns are attached and are fixed as a bridge then full replacement of all four crowns only can be done.

Q.Would you crown a tooth which is already lose?
A. No, it is not good to have a crown in a tooth which is lose. it is better to remove the tooth and have a fixed prosthesis ( artificial tooth)by taking support from adjacent two teeth from either side.

Q. My teeth are healthy, the problem is that there are gaps between them. Can these gaps be closed by bonding?
A. Yes, the gap between your teeth can be closed. but the treatment option differs based on how much gap is present in between your teeth. if there is very little gap then bonding can be done. but if the gap is large then orthodontic treatment(braces)are the best option for closing the gaps.

Q. I wanted 3 of my teeth extracted as 2 are broken and 1 has grown behind a tooth which has caused me to be self conscious. I also wanted my teeth straightened with braces and I would like some advice on my canines at the top as I would like them to be symmetrical instead of taken out. I have had issues for many years and I wish to progress my lifestyle and push past these problems. Would I be able to get a consultation and a price?
A. First of all The price of extraction is based on the tooth condition and to get straight teeth we can do orthodontic treatment for correcting your teeth and the treatment plan varies based on the patient facial profile and the price is also based on your treatment plan and the orthodontic appliance(brackets) selected for the treatment. There are many types of brackets available in the market

And for payment you don’t need to pay the full amount in one installment because the orthodontic treatment takes minimum of 10 to 12 months and you need to come for a review every month so you can pay a basic amount during the treatment starting point and you can pay the rest during ever month review in installment.

Q. I have had two root canals done. Very shortly afterwards one tooth broke. And a short while after that, the second tooth lost its filling. When the filling fell out, it exposed a hole and in the hole was cotton. It was definitely in the hole beneath the filling. Why would that be? I have looked on the internet and cannot find any reason this would be. It seems that somehow the dentist forgot something and in may have made a mistake. Thank you.
A. Filling which fell out from the second root treated tooth was a temporary filling which has a closed dressing with a cotton pellet which is kept for the pus discharge. so it is nothing to worry. But as the filling has come out please consult a dentist as soon as possible for refilling and please have a crown after the treatment is complete as a root canal treated tooth is very brittle and has a chance of cracking easily.

Q. I am 34 and I’ve been left with no teeth. I am currently wearing a denture but it’s feels like my face is already making me a lot older than what I am I am so down but I have been to a few dentist and they said I would be a perfect fit for dental implants as I have good bone structure but I’m currently on benefits due to back pain is the procedure expensive for upper and lower implants. Thank you.
A. With considering your age you are very well fit to have a implant right now and the price varies based on the implant screw used for a single implant. But if you are worried about price other than going for full implant you can do semi implant and you can go for ceramic crown on top of the implant.
